6.15 Price information

Price information shall be communicated via the PriceInformation composite within the DealList. The following rules shall be applied:

  • PriceCode is meant to contain rough price band information such as “budget” or “front line”. It is not meant for sending instructions on the exact price to be used when offering the relevant releases to consumers;

  • WholesalePricePerUnit and BulkOrderWholesalePricePerUnit contain a price that a DSP can use to determine its sales price to consumers;

  • WholesalePricePerUnit and BulkOrderWholesalePricePerUnit may not be combined with a PriceCode;

  • SuggestedRetailPrice is not meant to be used by the DSP to determine the price to consumers.
